The Short Version

This site is built with reader privacy as a default. We do not use tracking cookies, ad-tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking. We collect only what is necessary to operate the site and the newsletter.

What We Collect

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic. Plausible is a privacy-respecting analytics tool that:

  • Sets no tracking cookies
  • Collects no personally identifiable information (PII)
  • Does not track visitors across sites or devices
  • Stores only aggregate, anonymized page-view counts

Because Plausible does not use cookies or collect PII, it does not trigger cookie consent requirements under GDPR or similar laws.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the bithome newsletter, your email address is collected and stored by Beehiiv, our email service provider. Subscription is opt-in only — we will not add you to the list without your explicit request. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email. Beehiiv’s handling of your data is governed by Beehiiv’s Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party other than Beehiiv for the purpose of sending the newsletter.

What We Do Not Collect

  • No passwords or account credentials (there is no login)
  • No payment information (there is no store)
  • No cookies of any kind from bithome itself
  • No cross-site tracking or ad-network data

Third-Party Infrastructure

This site is hosted via Cloudflare and GitHub. These providers may log standard HTTP access data (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of normal infrastructure operations. These logs are retained per their own policies and are not controlled by the Publisher. We do not access or analyze these logs for behavioral targeting.
